These are the terms and conditions that everyone must agree to before paying for and receiving services from Bold City Music Co. These terms are subject to change at any time.

General Liability Terms and Conditions
1. It is your responsibility to be safe at all times inside the classroom. Bold City Music Co. is never responsible for your safety.
2. A parent or guardian must be present either in the classroom or in a waiting area within one mile of the classroom at all times during every lesson.
3. Everything in the classroom is the property of Bold City Music Co. You will be held responsible for any damages to books or equipment.
4. All students are responsible for providing their own education materials including instruments and instruction books. An upright piano is available in the classroom. Some supplies may be available for rent or purchase upon request.
5. All students and their guardians must acknowledge that, as with all education services and activities, it is not possible to guarantee that the performance of any education services or lessons delivered by Bold City Music Co. will be successful within a specified time frame or at all. Bold City Music Co. is never liable for the failure of the education services or lessons to generate any performance results for any student.
Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in refusal of services without refund.
By paying for and/or receiving services from Bold City Music Co., you are agreeing to these terms.

Offsite Liability Terms and Conditions
1. It is your responsibility to be safe at all times regardless of event or lesson location. Bold City Music Co. is never responsible for the safety of any student, guardian, sibling, spouse, or other affiliated person under any condition.
2. Bold City Music Co. is never responsible for the transportation, safety, or care of any student, guardian, sibling, spouse, or other non-Bold City Music Co. affiliate under any condition.
3. A parent or guardian must be present either inside the venue or in a predesignated waiting area nearby at all times during every workshop for every student under 13 years of age. A parent or guardian must be responsible for the safety and actions of every student under 18 years of age. Bold City Music Co. reserves the right to terminate any workshop or expel any student under 13 years of age from any lesson or workshop who at any time is unattended by a guardian. No expulsion of a minor or termination of a lesson is eligible for a refund.
4. A parent or guardian must be present at all times during every in-home lesson for every student under 18 years of age. A parent or guardian must be responsible for the safety and actions of every student under 18 years of age. Bold City Music Co. reserves the right to terminate any lesson if a student under 18 years of age is unattended by a guardian at any time. No termination of a lesson due to an unattended minor is eligible for a refund.
5. All offsite lessons and workshops begin at the determined start time and terminate at the determined end time. Students who fail to arrive at the venue at the designated start time or who fail to remain in the lesson or workshop until the designated end time are ineligible to receive a refund.
6. Locations for Private In-Home Lessons are always provided by the student or guardian and are finalized at the time of booking. Once the lesson has been booked, the location may not be modified for any reason.
7. Everything provided by Bold City Music Co. for instructional use is the property of Bold City Music Co. You will be held responsible for any damages to books or equipment.
8. All students are responsible for providing their own education materials including instruments and instruction books unless otherwise stated in the lesson or event description. Some supplies may be available for rent or purchase upon request.
9. It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate addresses for all private in-home lessons. Failure to provide adequate directions and/or provide a complete and accurate location address may result in forfeiture of your appointment without refund. Forfeiture is determined solely at the discretion of Bold City Music Co.
10. All students and their guardians must acknowledge that, as with all education services and activities, it is not possible to guarantee that the performance of any education services or lessons delivered by Bold City Music Co. will be successful within a specified time frame or at all. Bold City Music Co. is never liable for the failure of the education services or lessons to generate any performance results for any student.

Scheduling, Payment, and Communications Policy
1. Lesson payments are determined by enrollment and are never determined by attendance.
2. Payments made in full guarantee your appointment. No partial payments can be accepted.
3. Canceled and/or rescheduled lessons are never eligible for a refund. All cancellations are final.
3a. A cancellation is an automatic forfeiture of your appointment. Bold City Music Co. reserves the right to immediately fill your appointment upon cancellation.
4. If you need to reschedule your lesson, you must call us at (904) 861-4224 to inform us of the change. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment in order to be eligible for a make-up lesson. In order to avoid disruptions to the student’s education, make-up lessons must be held within seven (7) calendar days of the originally scheduled appointment.
4a. All unused make-up lessons will expire seven (7) calendar days after the originally scheduled appointment. Unused lesson or make-up lesson time is never eligible for a refund.
4b. Any rescheduling requested within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment due to illness or family emergency may still be approved at the discretion of Bold City Music Co., but are not guaranteed, limited to one (1) approval per month.
4c. No make-up lesson will be eligible for rescheduling under any circumstances, nor will it be eligible for a refund.
5. If Bold City Music Co. must cancel an appointment for any reason, we are responsible for rescheduling that appointment. Service refusal due to late or non-payment is not considered a cancellation.
6. It is your responsibility to arrive on time. Bold City Music Co. is not responsible for making up any lost time caused by student tardiness, nor will any lost time be eligible for a refund for any reason.
6a. Any student who fails to arrive more than fifteen (15) minutes after their scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered absent. They will forfeit any eligibility for a make-up lesson and their teacher will be dismissed. No lost lesson time due to absence or tardiness will be eligible for a refund.
6b. All lessons terminate at the end of the appointment. Bold City Music Co. is NEVER responsible for any student before, during, or after their lesson. If any minor is left unattended by their guardian at the end of their lesson, their guardian will charged for the additional time at the rate of $50/hour and risks forfeiture of future appointments at the discretion of Bold City Music Co.
7. Bold City Music Co. reserves the right to refuse lesson services without notice and/or cancel your appointment if payment has not been received.
7a. Lesson service refusals due to late or no payment are not eligible for make-up lessons.
8. Bold City Music Co. will not hold any future appointments if payment has not been received.
9. Booking is managed on a first come/first serve basis and should be completed online through our booking portal.
6a. If you wish to pay in person, you must also book your appointments in person with your instructor and pay in full at the time of booking.
10. Bold City Music Co. is never responsible for scheduling or managing any customer accounts or appointments. It is always the customer's responsibility to reserve and pay for all desired appointments, and/or to schedule all pre-paid lessons within the billing and expiration periods.
11. By paying for and/or receiving services from Bold City Music Co., you consent to receiving communication from Bold City Music Co. and representatives of Bold City Music Co. Communication methods include but are not limited to phone calls, text messages, emails, automated text messages, and automated emails.
By paying for and/or receiving services from Bold City Music Co., you are agreeing to these terms and authorizing Bold City Music Co. to contact you using the phone and/or email information you provide at the time of booking.

Media Waiver
Bold City Music Co. reserves the right to record and use images, video, and other media for the purposes of advertising and/or promotion during all events including but not limited to lessons, recitals, and workshops. Bold City Music Co. does not reserve the right to use, share, or disclose any identifying information including but not limited to name, age, contact information, or other sensitive information for advertising and/or promotion purposes. All sensitive and/or identifying information collected by Bold City Music Co. for lesson services is used strictly for safety and communication purposes.
Students and/or guardians reserve the right to opt out of parts of this agreement by submitting a written request to Bold City Music Co. By submitting a written request, students and/or guardians may deny Bold City Music Co. the right to record images, video, and other media for the purposes of advertising and/or promotion specifically during private lessons. Bold City Music Co. still reserves the right to record and use images, video, and other media for the purposes of advertising and/or promotion during all other group events.
By paying for, attending, and/or receiving services from Bold City Music Co:
1. You understand and recognize Bold City Music Co.'s right to record and use images, video, and other media for the purposes of advertising and/or promotion.
2. You release Bold City Music Co. of all claims and liability relating to recorded and/or published media.
3. You waive your right to any compensation for use of recorded and/or published media.
